7 Ways to Detox before Spring


  1. Replace snacking on cookies and Candy with Vegetables– seems like a no-brainer, but you would be surprised with how great you feel from cutting out high-fat and high-sugars throughout the day. Use this trick at home or bring a veggie option when you leave the house.
  2. Stop Eating 3 hours before bedtime– Eating food right before bed doesn’t give your body time to properly digest your food. When you sleep your digestive system slows down, and eventually making you uncomfortable when you sleep or wake when you wake up the next morning. By eating earlier your body can digest your food and give you the extra energy that will keep you awake. Then you can naturally start to unwind before bed, in so, sleeping better.
  3. Leave Soda Out– Cutting soda out of your daily routine can help immensely to detox and re-energize your body. Soda contains an excess amount of sodium, which can lead to making you hungrier. Replace SODA with WATER.
  4. DRINK MORE WATER– Just like before, make sure you drink at least half your weight in ounces of water per day. Weigh yourself, and then divide that number in half. Convert to ounces then enjoy a healthy glass of water.
  5. Eat a Balanced Breakfast– Starting out your day with a delicious meal consisting of whole foods, fruit, and some vitamin C. Eating a large breakfast helps you get a great jump start to your day, literally. The food you eat in the morning gives you the energy you need throughout your day.
  6. Sweat it Out– Burning fat starts with sweating. Make it a combination of cardio and weight training to really sculpt and shape that body. Go on a nice long walk.
  7. SLEEP MORE– Everyone loves to sleep so this one should be the easiest. If you sleep, then you don’t eat. When you sleep your body has time to reset and recharge. Let’s give it time to rest.
